BioMat – Based on the Canadian study Measuring Stress Reduction Using the Infrared Negative Ions Amethyst BioMat done in 2011 by Dr. George Grant, the BioMat infrared therapy has the capability to reduce stress by reducing cortisol (the stress hormone), and increasing serotonin levels and endorphins in the brain. It increases blood and oxygen supply to damaged tissues to aid in healing damaged tissues, promoting relaxation and comfort while improving sleep.
